Kimberly S. Smith, PsyD received her
PsyD in clinical psychology from the Massachusetts School
of Professional Psychology and her MS in counseling psychology
from Northeastern University. For the Obesity Consult Center
Dr. Smith provides individual and group counseling for the
surgical and medical obesity program. Dr. Smith has more
than eight years of experience in the field of eating disorders,
obesity, behavior modification, anxiety and mood management,
and family therapy.
Dr. Smith's research interests include body
image, group psychotherapy, autogenic training and mood
regulation, cognitive-behavioral treatment of obesity, and
motivational interviewing.
